As a result of the Junior League of Flint 2010 Annual Road Rally – Camp Copneconic was presented with a check for $4,000.
Annually the incoming Junior League member class plan and host the Road Rally – it takes participants around Genesee County. Not only is the event designed to raise money for a specific charity of the Class’s choice, the destinations are local businesses within businesses of Genesee County. It is the goal that our participants will go back and patronize those that support the league.
The presentation of the check was particularly exiting, Meredith Roche and Nicole Breslin were on hand to present it to the Camp and the YWCA board members at their annual Donor Luncheon, where this year’s campership members put on quite a show for the guests. Meredith Roche said, “I wish everyone who participated could be here right now to experience the feeling of joy and gratitude! It made the whole event so much more than it already was!”
