
Our Mission
The Association of Junior Leagues International is an organization of women committed to promoting
voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and
leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior Leagues reach out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in
and commitment to voluntarism.

To commit our volunteers and resources to positively impact the present and future quality of life in our community.
The Junior League of Flint seeks to be recognized as the foremost organization providing opportunities for
women to develop organizational and leadership skills enabling them to be effective volunteers. By maximizing the
strengths and talents of its members, fostering friendships, and providing a legacy of trained volunteers, the League
strives to build a better community as the area's leading source of women leaders for public and private service.
